Obedience Class Sign Up

Note: We do not currently have any classes scheduled, but please let us know your interest below.

So you're ready to get your dog into class, that's awesome!  Our classes are based on a behavioral approach using positive training methods to teach you how dogs think and why your dog is behaving the way he is.

You will learn about manners, such as teaching your dog not to jump up on you or other people, not bolting out the door when it's open and how to be a well mannered companion.  You will also learn the basics of obedience such as sit, down, stand, heel, come and more.

This class will teach you to understand and communicate with your dog so you can have a better relationship with them.

You will love the way your dog listens to you and responds to your commands and they will love that they can now tell you what they think!

To let us know you are interested in signing up for class, you will need to

1. • Earn a "Canine Good Companion Certificate".  This ensures that your dog is ready to interact with people of all types, but in particular children, older folks and folks that are struggling health issues.

   • There are many trainers in Lexington, but some of our teams have successfully used  Rose Tree Training

2. Please download the application and email it to us in PDF format.

3. Email the application to inquiry@pawsabilitiiesunleashedky.org

4.  Bring your dog's current vaccination records with you to your first class.

5. Classes are $225 + tax.  Payable at/on TBD

We look forward to working with you and your dog(s)!

SEE YOU IN CLASS!!
