Where does our money go?

Adopters and the public at large are curious as to where our donations and adoption fees go. Below are our expenses. We run 3 prison programs for the benefit of the prison population, the community and our dogs that will become great family pets or therapy and service dogs.

Housing and Utilities:
- Rent or housing for the dogs.
- Electric and water.
- Sewer.
- Trash pick up.
Dog Care and Supplies:
- Dog food.
- Dog beds and bedding.
- Dog toys.
- Enrichment activities and supplies.
- Grooming supplies.
- Leashes, body harnesses, and training equipment.
Medical and Health:
- Vetting.
- Medicine and monthly flea/tick/heart guard.
Operational Expenses:
- Office supplies.
- Laundry and janitorial supplies.
- Transportation and gas.
- Insurance coverage.
- Phone and internet bills.

Bills are paid monthly or bi-monthly, and the amounts vary based on the number of animals being cared for.
